I paint and draw.

At this time, I prefer working with acrylic paint and chalk pastels for portraits.  I find that pastels are a material with which I can achieve rich and beautiful colours. When the chalk drawings are finished, I apply a special protective layer to ensure the colour and intensity remains intact. Acrylic paint offers the flexibility of oil but tends to dry faster and offers the same color intensity.

I put my heart and soul into my work and believe that a painting or drawing should ‘live’. I work hard to convey the character and personality of the subjects I paint or draw and it is this which makes them come alive.  I concentrate on pets and animals, portraits and still life and accept commissions to capture you, your loved ones or favorite animals on canvas – I can work from photographs or at my studio to produce portraits for you to enjoy and cherish for a lifetime.
